Cheryl Fausel is an artist who combines realism with abstraction. Her work demonstrates pursuit of control with a heavy emphasis on design and composition. Color is important in Cheryl’s work, and is based on the values needed to develop the painting. Each painting tells a story that is not immediately evident. Through design, she achieves an emotional reaction, as well as an interpretation of an idea. Cheryl’s work is collected internationally. She has signature status in the National Watercolor Society, the American Watercolor Society, the Southern Watercolor Society, the Florida Watercolor Society and the Tri-State Watercolor Society. She is also a member of the Florida Artists Group and the National League of American Pen Woman and the National Association of Women Artists. She is published in Watermedia of America, Vol. II, A Walk into the Abstract, Vol. II, Splash 17, published July 2016, and the French magazine, The Art of Watercolour. http://www.cherylafausel.com
