Honey Costa came ashore in Cape Coral, Florida, in 1991 after 5 years on a sailboat. Living on the water enables Honey to capture the multifaceted beauty of island people and their lifestyle, as well as the breathtaking vistas of southwest Florida, Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Cuba, and the Bahama Islands. She continues to win awards in area art shows and is an active member of the SW FL Community Foundation, the Fort Myers Beach Art Association, the Alliance of the Arts, the Florida Artists’ Group (FLAG), Area 7, and the National League of American Pen Women. A selection of her watercolors and mixed media is displayed at the DAAS CO-OP Gallery, Royal Palm Sq., Fort Myers, Tues-Sat. 10-6. Her art can also be viewed at her home.
