Lorraine Walker Williams

Lorraine Walker Williams is the author of five books of poetry: Simply Sanibel Poems, Split Poems, Fire in the Grass, Paradise Found and Near Water. She was nominated for the Pushcart Prize twice. Lorraine has received first place awards for her poetry from the National League of American Pen Women, Artists Embassy International, Gulf Coast Writers and Sanibel Writers Conference and has read at the Library of Congress, the Palace of the Legion of Honor, San Francisco, and PBS Arts Edition. She is the recipient of two Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation Grants in poetry.
